When you log in, your call sign and basic profile info are stored on our servers. Your net activity (monitoring, chat messages, reactions, and favorites) is stored on our servers and visible to other logged-in users for the duration of the net.
If you enable push notifications in the mobile app, your device token is stored on our servers.
For each net, we store check-ins and chat messages only for the duration of the net itself. Once the net ends, that information is deleted from our database.
Check-in location data (grid square, city, state, coordinates) originates from NetLogger and is displayed as-is. We do not collect your device's GPS location.
If you use the EchoLink feature, the app will request access to your device's microphone. The microphone is used solely to transmit audio while you are actively pressing the push-to-talk button. Audio is streamed directly to the EchoLink proxy server and is not recorded, stored, or processed by RagChew.
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data. No call sign or credentials are included in analytics events.
You may delete your account at any time using this URL (if logged in): /user/delete
